Who I Am
I am a Hard Working Portland Area Lawyer Who Helps Injured and Disabled People
My name is Sara Gabin. I am a Portland area lawyer helping injured and disabled people receive Social Security Disability (SSDI) benefits, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits, Workers' Compensation benefits and Personal Injury recoveries.
I have been a member of the Oregon Bar since 1981 and have been helping injured and disabled people in the Portland Metropolitan area ever since to obtain the recovery they deserve. At least half of my business comes from the friends and relatives of my former clients.
I graduated from the University of Michigan in 1978 with a BA in Economics, and from Willamette University in 1981 with a Juris Doctor (JD).
In addition to the Oregon State Bar and Federal District Court for the District of Oregon, I am a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR), the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA), and the Oregon Workers’ Compensation Association (OWCA).
My Commitment to You.
When you are my client, you come first. The case belongs to you and my job is to navigate your case through the procedural and adversarial mazes until we get the best recovery available. It is my privilege to do this. I will not stop working until I have exhausted every legal avenue available to get the benefits or recovery you should receive.
If you choose me to be your lawyer, I will guide your case through the legal processes that apply, keeping you posted along the way. Because you have no time to lose, I will proceed as fast as possible without sacrificing thoroughness.
I invite you to learn more about my practice areas. I believe all cases have good and strong points and that you deserve to hear only my candid opinion about your case. After listening to your situation I will tell you what I think and advise you accordingly.
Free Consultation
Contact me at 503 620-3171 or at slgabin@pacifier.com for a free telephone consultation about your Social Security Disability, Supplemental Security Income, Personal Injury or Workers' Compensation claim. After we chat, I will have a fairly good idea whether I can help you. If I think I can help, I will invite you to schedule a FREE in-person appointment. Then, we can interview one another before agreeing to form an attorney/client relationship.
Fees
Fees for my time are strictly contingent. That means I get paid only if you receive benefits or a recovery. Fees are set by law according to the type of case and we would sign a fee agreement that specifies how fees are paid. I invite you to learn more about fees by visiting my page on Fees.
